Currently in Las Vegas… another big trip nearly done. 10 days away from home is hours away from being complete.
I’m going to miss absolutely everyone that took the time to have conversation with me. Once again, I’ve met many, many new friends and colleagues. Meeting up with those I eagerly await sharing ideas and dinner with this one time every year is always the best. Thanks to each and every one of you and I can’t wait to catch up with those I’ve promised a follow up phone call too.
Many that I’ve worked with, know about Peter Merry’s book “The Best Wedding Reception…Ever!” (If I’ve given you a copy and you haven’t read it yet, read it!) Having just spent another 4 days in training with him, I am looking forward to bringing more small changes to how I perform the tasks entrusted to me that will make even larger differences to the results of this years events. Thanks to my colleagues from Australia, the United Kingdom, the United States and of course, Canada, for working with me in these workshops! You are all an inspiration to me and each other — each and every one of you.
I spend this time away from my family to pursue this hands on training because I’m told by my clients (also known to me as friends), that they want something more then average. What I do makes me extremely happy and I enjoy travelling this continent to continuously improve upon the results I’m helping create.
When I found this sheet of paper folded and carefully hidden in my suitcase last night though… the desire to get home landed upon me like a pile of bricks. Tomorrow afternoon I say goodbye Las Vegas and hello to my girls. I can’t wait to hug you, kiss you and tell you again how much I love all three of you. See you soon ladies…
