They met while working together at a restaurant, both are graduates of culinary school and 9 days ago, Kris & Melissa cooked up an amazing wedding…
Down to the Cypress River region of Manitoba is where I trekked just over a week ago… and we had a fantastic time, even with the outrageously high humidity and unprecedented rain that fell over much of the province that weekend.
I worked with Kris & Melissa because I’d been a part of her sister’s wedding not quite 2 years ago and as Missy said, “My sister had an amazing wedding and people still talk about it!! No one was bored and everyone had a good time!!” I think it’s safe to say, the same happened this time around! From the fun that started with their wedding party introductions to the buffet invitation activity which was built uniquely around the idea that both Kris & Missy are chefs, to their first dance, to the final song of the night… many smiling faces and many tired feet were all that remained by the end. Mission accomplished!
